Adeyemi John Damilare better known as Alogi John is an artist from Lagos, Nigeria.

His passion for art started at a very young age. After his elementary education, he started studying art by enrolling in an apprenticeship programme at Talents art kingdom under the tutelage of his first master Oyebola Olayinka Jacob OJ.

In order to further his career in the art world, Alogi graduated in painting from the prestigious Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, Nigeria.

After that, he interned at Olokun studio under the tutelage and mentorship of Saheed Adelakun.

Alogi represents in his works, his memories, inner emotions, his history and his experiences. His works generally emphasise humour.

His paintings have been featured in some group exhibitions in Nigeria including "life in my city" in 2018 and he was among the 10 finalists in a competition in Lagos in 2019.

He is currently featured in several private collections.
