Isabel Teixeira de Sousa
Angola
Isabel Teixeira de Sousa was born in September 1955 in Lubango, Angola.
She is a visual artist, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, Portugal.
Isabel has in her career individual and collective exhibitions in several countries. Her work is part of private and public collections.
Her most recent painting contains a close connection with the element Earth, asserting itself as a telluric scenario to run through, where the encounter with the unexpected appears translated into forms and apparently decontextualized objects.
