Olayinka Salami was born on January 23, 1998 in Ogun State and lives in Lagos, Nigeria.

The taste for art started from a young age, however, it was only in 2018 that he started painting under the influence of a group of artistic friends, which he joined - The Kolony.

His ideas are designed to show the human mind's emotional description of its environment. In her works, Olayinka traces a metaphorical expression of her themes and describes her aesthetic vision of nature, fashion and the environment.

His first exhibition, dedicated to the Month of Black Art History, was in the United States, in New York, in 2021.
