Wilson Belas

Born in Luanda on March 29, 1993, Wilson de Oliveira Belas, began to show his taste for painting at the age of 10 and considers if a self-taught artist.
He began his artistic career with the Angolan artist Nelo Teixeira. With Nelo Teixeira, he learned to work with found and wasted materials and to give new life to those same objects, such as plates, iron, plastic, among others.
Later, received an invitation to work as assistant to the plastic artist Antônio Ole, where he is still today. It was with António Ole that he learned more about contemporary art and how to work in his own style.
During that time, Wilson was present in several projects as an assistant, such as "Observatory of the senses", "Kaluanda Spirit", "Venice Biennale", "50 years of career".
