Dela Quarshie

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dela Quarshie

Dela Quarshie (b. 1993) is a Ghanaian artist whose work explores the emotional dynamics of memory, influence, and identity. Beginning with body art in childhood, his practice has evolved into a nuanced investigation of human connection and cultural layering.

Trained in Commercial Art Painting at Takoradi Technical University, with further studies in Animation and Illustration, Dela has exhibited in Ghana, Nigeria, France, and the U.S. Working primarily with acrylic and oil on canvas, his intricate compositions — marked by enclosed forms and gemstone tones - evoke presence, transformation, and unspoken feeling.
