Combining realism and surrealism, his pieces transform everyday elements into faces, silhouettes, and scenes that reflect societal attitudes and collective consciousness. Across major collections like Persona, Projections, Colloquium, Somnium, and Ecosystème, Yeanzi investigates “The Identitaire Question,” merging technical experimentation with deep social and philosophical reflection."

Yeanzi

Saint-Étienne Yeanzi (b. 1988, Katiola, Côte d'Ivoire) is a visual artist based in Abidjan and Paris, a teacher, and cultural promoter. A top graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts d'Abidjan, he works across painting, photography, and diverse materials to explore identity, community, and historical memory. His major collections (Persona, Projections, Colloquium, Somnium, Ecosystème) address “The Identitaire Question,” combining technical experimentation with social reflection.
