Delman is a Botswana-born, Malawian artist based in Cape Town whose self-taught practice fuses figurative painting with psychological and diasporic narratives. His work explores memory, thought, and emotional interiority, using blue—as skin, shadow, or atmosphere—to convey resilience, longing, and the unspoken self. Working primarily in acrylic, he creates immersive compositions blending symbolic realism and expressive distortion.
