Blessings, Rituals & Ceremonies by Hage is a monumental work of Black Art, created through the recycling of waste materials on canvas. Transforming discarded objects into powerful symbolism, the piece honours ancestral traditions, community memory, and the resilience embedded in African heritage.

Hage’s practice redefines materiality in contemporary art, where sustainability becomes part of the aesthetic and cultural message. Layers of texture and form reflect the continuity of rituals and ceremonies that shape identity, affirming the role of Black Art as both preservation and transformation.

As part of Afrikanizm Art’s curated collection, Blessings, Rituals & Ceremonies stands as a rare collector’s piece that merges ecological awareness with cultural depth. It is not only a painting but also a visual archive of memory, presence, and belonging within the continuum of Black Art.
