Gina-Rose Bolligello
Gina-Rose Bolligello (b. 2001, Cape Town) is a visual artist whose work seeks to illuminate what history has silenced. Working across photography, video, and printmaking, she explores the colonial past of the Cape through a hauntological lens, reimagining the lives and presences erased from official record. Where archives fall silent, she introduces ‘ghosts’—figures that embody memory, resistance, and the persistence of being.
