Armand Boua
Armand Boua (b. 1978, Abidjan) is an Ivorian artist whose work portrays the resilience and vulnerability of street children. Using tar, acrylic, newsprint, and cardboard, he creates layered compositions where fading silhouettes emerge from textured surfaces, transforming decay into beauty. Balancing social critique with compassion, Boua’s paintings evoke memory, marginalization, and the quiet endurance of the human spirit.
