Giovani Kongo
Born in Luanda, Angola, the artist’s practice is shaped by an urban cartography of contrasts, rooted in his experiences across Vidrul, Cacuaco, and Patriota. Although initially trained in Physical and Biological Sciences at Colégio Elizângela Filomena, his move to Portugal marked a pivotal shift toward creative maturity. Today, his work explores ontological curiosity and the impulse to materialize the world through an artistic lens, transforming Angolan heritage and the diasporic experience into a territory of visual investigation.
