Danick Bumba
Danick Bumba (b. 1997), born Daniko Kitsissa Bumba, is a talented Angolan visual artist with a background in Mining Engineering from Agostinho Neto University. Formerly a language teacher, he now works full-time as an artist, curator, and artistic producer.
Specializing in realistic and hyper-realistic works, Danick founded Ateliê Belnique in 2019 - a social project focused on training young visual artists and promoting art among Angolan youth. Its guiding mantra: “Art is Our Language and the World is Our Family.”
He is a member of the National Union of Plastic Artists (UNAP) and previously part of the Brigade of Young Plastic Artists (BJAP). Danick lives and works in Luanda, Angola.
