"Quase... fora do lugar" (Almost... out of place) (2023) is the exhibition by the artist Hamilton Francisco- Babu, the result of the Casada Esquina Artist Residency Programme (2022); it is a cartography of symbols and experiences lived by the artist, which is expressed in a set of works with a predominance of experimental painting associated with reflections on his present in Portugal and his past in Angola, in the context of the post-colonial war trauma.
