About The Artwork

A representation of the constant observation and control that society exerts over the individual. The gears, eyes, and mouths symbolize the interaction between technology and humanity, where we are always under surveillance—whether by cameras surrounding us or by others' judgments. The open mouths represent the voice of public opinion, while the technological eyes observe us, criticizing the loss of privacy and the way society shapes and dictates behavior. It invites us to reflect on how much we allow ourselves to be watched and how this affects our essence.
