About The Artwork

Created at the beginning of the year, “The Portal Has Opened” marks the start of a new spiritual and personal journey, symbolizing renewal and revelation through the presence of the Black woman as an ancestral guide and guardian of paths; amid vibrant colors and mystical figures, the painting reflects the transformative power of cycles—individual and collective—through an Afro-descendant perspective, celebrating spiritual strength and the opening of a new era where the signs of the invisible become both direction and purpose.
