Obilala Vincent Nwankwo (b. 1992, Lagos, Nigeria) is a contemporary Nigerian artist celebrated for his ability to weave personal memory and collective identity into visually compelling figurative works. Originally from Anambra State and holding a Fine Art degree from one of Lagos' top institutions, Obilala uses painting, drawing, and mixed media to explore daily life, cultural identity, and the evolving dynamics of his community.

His work has been featured in prestigious spaces such as Agora Gallery (New York), Black Art in America, Artdex, Hamer Gallery, and the Swatch Art Biennale in Venice, where he was selected as a Swatch Artist in 2022—a milestone that marks his growing presence on the international art scene.

Obilala's compositions often balance introspection with social commentary, inviting viewers to reflect on the tension between memory and aspiration, tradition and modernity. Drawing inspiration from the rhythms of everyday life, he creates vibrant visual narratives that connect past experiences to future visions.
