Sebawali Sio
Sebawali is a multidisciplinary and experimental artist whose practice moves between painting and sculpture. Working with materials such as resin, wood, metal, and recycled glass, she creates layered compositions that reflect her deep engagement with emotion, identity, and the natural world. Influenced by artists such as Frida Kahlo and Mark Rothko, her work balances introspection with expressive intensity.
Her practice is rooted in the belief that human existence is inseparable from the environment, and that all living beings are interconnected beyond visible perception. This philosophy informs both the material and conceptual dimensions of her work.
