About The Artwork

Let love lead.

No malice. No envy. No comparison. Life is not a competition — we’re all heading to the same place, only at different times.
In 150 years, none of us will be here. Most of what we fight for now will be long forgotten — completely.

Think back to 1875. The faces, the power, the possessions — all gone. Some betrayed blood for mirrors, land, or salt. Where are those now?

Let’s live with grace. Nothing we cling to will leave with us — but how we loved, that might remain.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Tosin Ogunniy

Raised predominantly by his mother, a single parent who faced significant challenges after the loss of her husband, Tosin draws inspiration from the bittersweet essence of life. His art captures the respect for feminine figures in society and the broader black community. Merging charcoal and acrylics, he skillfully represents black and conceptual themes in his work. His art centers around love, hope, faith, romance, body positivity, and kindness, aiming to amplify underrepresented or marginalized voices. Through meticulous observation of individuals, Tosin emphasizes fairness and equality, challenging notions of superiority.
