Dialogues of an Existence is a study of characters and sensibilities drawn from everyday Angolan life. Through mixed media - combining image transfer, acrylic, and oil -the work explores both the visible and invisible layers of common experience.
This initial chapter brings together several works that engage collective memory as a way of understanding gestures, expressions, and social tensions within the urban landscape. Color functions as an emotional and symbolic force, transforming each figure into an inner landscape shaped by silence, presence, and transformation.
Presented at Afrikanizm Art, the exhibition marks the beginning of a broader investigation into the individual and collective realities of contemporary Angola, explored through color, matter, and lived experience.
