About The Artwork

In Danick Bumba’s work, time unfolds like a spiral where past and present coexist. Geometric structures inspired by Mondrian frame tender, powerful scenes rooted in African narratives - evoking memory, femininity, and renewal. Bold blocks of color give way to moments of ritual, prayer, and communion. Ancestral masks float through warm skies, trees bloom under divine light. This harmony between abstraction and the human figure becomes a gesture of healing - revealing an Africa that is alive, plural, and deeply grounded. A quiet invitation to contemplation through color, form, and spirit. From the collection "Tout est Mondrian".
